I am a writer and strategist with two decades of experience in central research support at one of BC's most research-intensive universities.

 

I managed research communications for Vice-Presidents, Research; established a research awards office, processes and committees; championed an awards laddering approach; initiated an internal awards program; and developed university-wide research recognition strategies. I led or facilitated more than 500 major research award nominations across disciplines, and contributed to major funding proposals that collectively attracted more than $70 million in federal funding.
In 2025, I received a Lifetime Achievement Award for my work.
